How is chocolate created?

The most important ingredient to any chocolate is the cacao seeds. These seeds come in buches from a plant which grows cacao pods, which these seeds are in. These cacao pods can hold up to 60 beans. These cacao seeds are scooped out of their pods and then are taken somewhere to become fermented. After this the cocoa beans are cracked open so that the nib ( the pieces inside the shell which are used to create the chocolate ) can be harvested and then placed in grinders. After this process the grinded cocoa beans are melted to create the rich gooeyness which is used in chocolate. The next step which is used to create chocolate is placing it in a container which is used for tempering the chocolate. When this is completed it creates a smooth and glossy texture. This is also the reason why the chocolate snaps when you bite into it. One of the last steps in creating chocolate is changing the amount of cocoa butter to cocoa powder in the chocolate to create the perfect texture. The chocolate is then poured into racks and cooled down to create bars. The bars are then wrapped and delivered to stores and people's very own doorsteps. The process of creating chocolate is very long and complicated, yet is worth it due to the amazing outcome which we get.
